The Mission
OroraTech is the leading provider of real-time wildfire intelligence from space. Using proprietary thermal infrared imaging and AI-powered analytics, we enable governments, emergency services, and utilities to detect, monitor, and respond to wildfires faster and more effectively. Headquartered in Munich, we are building a global constellation of nanosatellites equipped with AI-enhanced thermal cameras, delivering automated wildfire detection, severe weather alerts, and a broad range of thermal applications. With a growing fleet of satellites in orbit and additional launches secured, OroraTech continues to expand its technological capabilities and market reach worldwide.
Munich-based OroraTech is operating a constellation of nano-satellites with AI-powered thermal infrared cameras for automated wildfire detection, severe weather warnings and many other applications, as well as developing its own satellite platform for in-house and customer missions.
After the successful FOREST missions and the eight-satellite OTC-P1 launch in March 2025, we’re now building a second orbital plane including fully in-house satellites under ESA’s Hellenic Fire-Satellite Program.
