OroraTech’s 2026 International Wildfire Conference
Bringing together experts at the forefront of wildfire intelligence, this conference explores how data, technology, and operations converge to enable earlier and more effective action. Taking place on October 12–13, 2026 in the Munich region, the event is designed as a fully hosted experience to support focused collaboration.
Built for meaningful exchange
If your work sits at the intersection of wildfire risk, operations, and decision-making, this is where perspectives align and ideas turn into action. Join a group of peers working on real wildfire challenges across regions and industries.
A new format for deeper exchange
Across two days, the conference moves from strategic perspectives to hands-on problem solving. Day one is dedicated to presentations and case insights, while day two shifts into interactive working sessions where participants bring their own challenges and work directly with experts and peers to explore solutions.
Strategic perspectives and case insights
Keynotes and presentations from leaders across wildfire management, science, and technology, sharing experiences, lessons learned, and evolving approaches to prevention and prediction.
Interactive working sessions
Dedicated stations led by product and domain experts, where participants bring their own challenges. From fire spread analysis to post-fire assessment, sessions are designed to explore solutions collaboratively and in depth.
Scientific exchange and poster session
A space for the scientific community to present research and connect it with real-world application. Engage with new methodologies, data approaches, and analytical perspectives.
Networking and social events
Structured and informal moments to connect with peers across sectors, including an icebreaker evening and hosted dinner, creating space for conversations beyond the sessions.
A setting designed for focus and exchange
Located just south of Munich, in the Bavarian foothills of the Alps, Bayerischer Hof Miesbach offers a focused environment away from the pace of the city. Surrounded by open landscapes and with direct proximity to the mountains, the setting creates space for clear thinking and meaningful exchange.

Participation is designed to be seamless and focused, with all core elements of the conference experience hosted by OroraTech. Attendees are only responsible for their own travel and accommodation.
Icebreaker evening
An informal start to the conference with dinner and the opportunity to connect with fellow participants ahead of the program.
